Dr Anne Schneider

Senior Environmental Scientist

Anne is originally from Germany, and obtained her bachelors and masters degrees from the University of Goettingen in forestry and forest ecology. She then moved to Australia to complete a PhD in environmental science from the University of Queensland, where her research focused on strategies for mitigating acid-mine drainage in metalliferous mining operations.

Over the last eight years’ Anne has worked as an environmental consultant, focusing on environmental matters in the resources industry.  A Certified Professional Soil Scientist (CPSS), Anne has experience in undertaking soil surveys, environmental due diligences, mine closure and working on environmental approvals in Queensland, New South Wales and Western Australia.

Anne serves as the Secretary for the Queensland Branch of Soil Science Australia where she has also previously served as Communications Assistant.
