PSK and Soil Science Australia (SSA) were proud to present a certificate to the winner of the inaugural PSK/SSA Emerging Leader Award to Aaditi Dang from AAM Investment Group at the SSA AGM last Friday night. Aaditi’s strong community involvement since 2013, demonstrated leadership within SSA and ongoing commitment to research projects within soil science and industry were acknowledged. As the winner, Aaditi received a $2,000 prize that supported her attendance at the 2023 National Soil Conference in Darwin, held in late June. Congratulations are also extended to Liam Thompson from Landloch, who was the runner-up and showcased an impressive submission. Liam exhibited a solid understanding of the project, despite his limited industry experience, and he effectively utilized visual aids throughout his presentation. Additionally, Liam has actively contributed through extensive volunteering work with his local Dune Care and local council. Congratulations to both Aadati and Liam!
