PSK provided Acid Sulfate Soil and Contaminated services for the delivery of the $110 million Port Drive Upgrade in Brisbane. The project included a 3.4km carriageway, bridge crossings and side roads from the existing Port of Brisbane Motorway. PSK was engaged by the geotechnical lead during the design phase and then by the construction contractor during the construction and post construction phases.

ASSESSMENT UNDERTAKEN

  • Undertook intrusive investigations to assess the ASS and contaminant conditions along the alignment, working closely with the geotechnical engineers to minimise costs where possible.
  • Prepared an ASS Investigation Report
  • Prepared a Contaminated Land Report
  • Developed an ASS Environmental Management Plan
  • Undertook monthly compliance groundwater monitoring and reporting during the construction and post construction phases
