Dr Silvana Santomartino is proud to have been reappointed as an Industry Fellow with the Australian Rivers Institute at Griffith University, with her appointment extended through to 2027.
Silvana shared the following words in acknowledgement of her achievement.
‘It brings me joy to collaborate with universities and help strengthen the bridge between academia and industry, so that students graduate with a clearer understanding of real-world environmental challenges and industry expectations. I recently met with Professor Chengrong Chen, Dr Mehran Rezaei Rashti, and Dr Chris Pratt, in the Environmental Chemistry Department, to explore how I, and PSK Environmental, can best support Griffith University over the next 6 months. Together we’ve developed an action plan that includes guest lecturing, field demonstrations and delivering careers talks. As always, PSK Environmental continues to support Griffith University by offering placements in the Work Integrated Learning program. I’m looking forward to connecting with the next generation of environmental professionals and helping to set them up for success.”
